Along with being environmentally friendly (manufactured with no fossil fuels, water wastage or greenhouse emissions), Aquage Solid Spanish Glass Pool Tiles are also highlyar and tear resistant to we and easy to install. These quality glass pool tiles utilise an evolutionary technology called the Silicone Dot Backing System. This means the glass mosaics are joined with a silicone dot, leaving 91% of the backing free to adhere to the pool’s shell and substrate. This ensures durability in the long run and reduces the likelihood of the glass pool mosaics detaching, especially from constant pressure and submersion under water. Compared to the paper and mesh technology, the Solid Aquage Collection’s Silicone Dot Backing System is a much more economical choice for your pool. Why economical? Well, firstly, the ease of installation reduces labour time and cost. Secondly, the stronger adhesion means you don’t need to spend as much time and money on repairing tiles that detach over time, as is often the case with other brands or older technologies.
Unlike the paper and mesh ones of the past, the Silicone dot backing system is also easier to shape and cut into the appropriate designs for installation. Designed from a specially formulated silicone, which makes them highly flexible, the Aquage solid pool sheets are easier to handle during installation.
